UHF on Samsung and LG TVs: your options
Short answer: UHF is not available on Samsung or LG TVs; it is an Apple-only app. Two good options: plug in an Apple TV to get the real UHF app, or install a smart TV IPTV player and enter your UHF IPTV login directly on the TV.
Your options, compared
| Option | Cost | Experience |
|---|---|---|
| Apple TV plugged into the TV | Buy an Apple TV once | The real UHF app, the smoothest result |
| Smart TV IPTV player (Samsung or LG app store) | Some players charge a small activation | Same channels and guide, different interface |
| Fire TV or Google TV stick | Low | No UHF, but TiviMate or IPTV Smarters work well |
Option 1: Apple TV for the full UHF experience
Connect an Apple TV to a free HDMI port, install UHF from the App Store, then add your UHF IPTV login with Xtream Codes. The step-by-step version is in UHF on Apple TV.
Option 2: a player app on the TV itself
Open the Samsung app store (Smart Hub) or the LG Content Store and look for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U. Some of these apps show a device or MAC address and ask you to add the playlist on their website; any activation fee goes to the app maker, not to us. Then enter the server, username and password from your UHF IPTV email.
